✨ Camper Detailing & Presentation Specialist

​

You'll be responsible for ensuring every Tasvanlife camper leaves in immaculate, showroom-ready condition. This is a hands-on cleaning and detailing role at heart, with some light operational support on the side.

​

🚐 Camper Detailing & Reset (core focus)

• Deep clean interiors and exteriors between every hire — this is the main part of the job

• Detail kitchens, bathrooms, bedding and all surfaces to a premium standard

• Reset and restock equipment and amenities to Tasvanlife standards

• Conduct thorough quality control checks before every departure

• Handle stains, odours and wear-and-tear proactively so vans always feel new

• Anticipate presentation issues before they become guest complaints

📞 Guest Handover (light, secondary)

• Welcome guests and explain how the campers operate

• Deliver a confident, warm handover once the van is detailing-ready

🏢 Back Office & Supplies (light, secondary)

• Keep cleaning supplies and equipment stocked and organised

• Manage laundry using office facilities

• Support basic inventory tracking

​

🔧 Vehicle Coordination (occasional)

• Occasionally drive vans to repair shops or fitting stores

• Assist with light logistical tasks

🌟 Ideal Profile

​

We're looking for someone who:

• Takes real pride in cleanliness, presentation and attention to detail

• Is energetic, proactive and thorough — no shortcuts on a deep clean

• Can work efficiently and consistently to a high standard, van after van

• Is confident working autonomously

• Is comfortable driving larger vehicles

• Has some customer service comfort for brief handovers

• Is mostly available in the afternoons

Bonus points if you:

• Have prior detailing, cleaning, or housekeeping experience

• Are handy and practical

• Have a natural "can-do" attitude

​

📍 Role Conditions

• Based at the Tasvanlife Command Centre in North Hobart

• Casual position initially, opportunity to move to Part-Time for the right person

• Afternoon shifts of 2-3hours, weekdays mainly.

• Driver's Licence required
