Palawa name & meaning: Tanalipunya from Swanport in the east told the name to Robinson in October 1830 as she and her husband Manalakina, from Ringarooma/Cape Portland travelled through the north east and islands with Robinson. lana is also a northern/northeastern word for 'rock'.

Storage: taluna has several draws and shelves for your belongings and a medium rear storage space. They can fit most suitcases however if yours happens to be too big, we can happely provide you a tray to fit your belongings and store your suitcase during your trip.

Stand tall: taluna has a high roof clearing allowing 6ft3 people to stand straight in, its a game changer for tall people (trust me).

Driving: taluna is automatic, has A/C, ABS, airbags, and cruise control for your comfort and safety.

Electricity: taluna has a spare battery capable to power lights, fridge and charge your usb devices thanks to its solar panel and your driving.

Sleeping: up to 3 adults in 2 queen beds. Please note that the top bed has a max. weight capacity of 275kgs.

Please be aware that National Parks passes in Tasmania are not transferable, so it's necessary to purchase one for your visit. These passes can be obtained in advance or easily at National Parks or Tourist Information offices during your stay.
